Strut & Sip for Autism 2009 was a huge success!!

Thanks to everyone who made it possible and for all those who supported the event by attending or making a donation to the cause or to the live and silent auctions. If you were not able to get tickets this year, we hope to see you next year!

A special thanks to Miss Maryland 2010, Simone Feldman, Miss Teen Maryland 2010 Kamie Crawford and Miss Teen Maryland 2009 Kasey Staniszewski for volunteering their time for this very worthy cause. The Strut & Sip for Autism is the first official appearance by the new title holders and we were so pleased to work with all three of these gorgeous, lovely young ladies. We would be honored to work with them any time!

We want to thank all the stunning models, backstage assistants, the hair squad from Liu Liu's Hair Salon in Eastport and make up artists Roxanne Farias, Crystal Hannon, Dana Delikat and Julia Deckman. What a show!!! The staff at Osteria outdid themselves as the food and service was top notch. We expected nothing less from Arturo and his team.

We were able to raise $18,000 for the Horses the Heal program at Maryland Therapeutic Riding and donations are still coming in.

Another special thanks to Lucian the expert mixologist at Osteria - those drinks were incredible and I hope to see the Saucy Spur on the menu...permanently. He is a genius!! We can't forget to mention Kamajian on the bongo drums and DJ Folly for mixing awesome dance beats that kept us going until the wee hours...
